Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your order. Your 50% retainer is non-refundable, however, if the order is canceled within 14 days of the pick-up or delivery date, the retainer may be applied to another order within 60 days. After 60 days the retainer is forfeited.

Any order canceled less than 14 days from the pick-up or delivery date will result in a forfeited retainer.

Custom Orders:

When placing a custom order a 50% non-refundable retainer is required to hold your desired date. You will receive 2 reminders to pay your retainer. You will have 24 hours after the second reminder to pay the retainer or the invoice could be cancelled. Cancellation is up to the discretion of the owner.

The remainder is due 1 week before pick up/delivery. You will receive 2 reminders to pay the remaining balance. You will have 24 hours after the second reminder is sent to pay the balance or your order could be cancelled. Work will not begin on custom orders until the balance is paid in full.

All changes to custom orders must be made within 14 days of pick up/delivery. After the 14-day window, no changes will be accepted.

Please read your invoice in its entirety. Your invoice contains all of your order details and pick-up or delivery information. It is up to you, the client, to review the details of the invoice to ensure any personalization, including spellings and dates, flavors, amounts, etc… are correct. Orders will be completed based on the information sent in the invoice.

Pick up location is Sugar A La Mode, 1603 5th Ave, Moline IL 61265. If other pick-up arrangements have been made, they will be specified in your invoice. Please make note of your pick-up date and time as we do not send reminders.

Payment of your retainer constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions.

Workshops and Events:

We do not offer refunds on classes, workshops, or events. If an issue arises, please contact the dessert bar as soon as possible. If Sugar A La Mode must cancel a class, workshop, or event a full refund will be issued if no other arrangements can be made.

No outside food or drink may be brought into any class, workshop, or event. All food and beverages must be purchased at the dessert bar.
